A season to give thanks

It was a moment of surprise when they announced that I got the Outstanding C*ntribution Award. 

It has never crossed my mind that I will get it. 
I am so young and so new here. And I had always been very (extremely) low profile, trying to remain unheard and unseen. My RO always tells me, you have to be more outspoken like blah blah blah. In November this year, my RO told me that she will nominate me. I was like, "HUH? I am such a small fry, why waste your time?" The funny thing was, when I told her what work I did, my RO was sure I did more than what I have told her, and I have hidden many other things. I was like... errr... okay, I will tell you what are the rest of the things I did. 

Fame is scary. 
Some congratulate you with sarcasm and view you as their new competitor. Some congratulate you from the bottom of their hearts by saying "dont need your treat, just help me do more work okay?" hahaha... I always tell them, I thank my RO coz she nominated me.

Whatever it is, I give thanks. I thank Lord for everything. EVERYTHING. What am I to deserve all these? All the lovely emails from p*rents and this award are just unbelievable. I am just doing my best with God's guidance. I am afraid I will be proud and leave Him one day. 

My prayer is that I will continue to be humble at my workplace.
To love the unlovable. 
To leave no one behind. 

To God be the glory. 
Amen.
