Taking a moment to pray.

Morning is a mad rush. Sometimes I had to eat, and do last minute work, do morning stretching exercise AND do quiet time at the same time. Not to mention, changing and putting on powder. But I gave thanks. Every morning devotion seemed to speak to me in every way.

There's a day which the title was "facing rejection". And it relates to my disappointments in life. One disappointment I always face is when I wanted affirmation from pple whom I care. Another disappointment is from all the false hope which i got from guys.
Leah, the not-so-well-loved wife of Jacob, was the character mentioned. Coincidently, alot of people thought that Leah was my Christian name as it sounded like my Chinese name. Lol. She had 3 children, and yet still did not win the love of her husband. I thought about it, how sad. But that's life. We need to learn to face rejections.

The second devotion which resonates me is today's one. It said "expect great things from God; attempt great things for God". The PXLE of my P6 is a constant worry. It is always the topic in my mind. It pops up as and when it likes. And it is an unavoidable topic between me and my reporting boss. She said we will talk about this again. I was like O.M.G. But I thought today's devotion was really an affirmation from God. Dear God, I will attempt do my best, for God. Amen
